Better foods to prevent heart attack

Heart attacks occur suddenly, while the symptoms include chest pain, breathing problems, feelings of deafness, and so on.

Although the immediate ambulance call is the right thing during those moments, it is also important to work towards preventing this phenomenon.

A new study, published last week, has revealed that the consumption of plant proteins may be the best way to avoid the disease.

Consuming these proteins helps reduce the risk of coronary heart disease – a risk factor for heart attacks.

Good sources of plant protein are quinoa and beans with the Latin name Cicer Arietinum.

The study was presented at the Nutrition 2018 meeting in Boston, USA.
