Three simple ways to get rid of mold

It is one of the most difficult things to clean and the products that remove it are often full of bad chemicals.

So if you have problems with black mold areas in your bedroom, it is better to try to use a natural alternative when it comes to getting rid of it once and for all.

And the best thing is – you can already have some of the tools in your closet.

First, grapefruit seed extract. It contains limonoids and naringenin, which penetrate the bacteria and kill them forever. To use, fill a bottle with water and add 10 drops of oil to each cup of water.
Spray liberally on the affected area, leave on for an hour and then wipe with a sponge or brush.

Next, the much-loved distilled white vinegar – not only a fantastic cleansing liquid in other areas of the house, but also an effective mold remover thanks to its acidity and antibacterial properties.

You can use this undiluted in the mold – but do not forget to wipe off any excess if you do not want your bedroom to smell like a fish shop! Use a spray bottle to apply to the area and wipe off the surface mold with a kitchen towel.

You can then use a toothbrush to remove any stubborn stains. Once the wall is dry, use a damp towel to give the surface a final wipe.

The last natural mold remover is lemon juice. While not as effective as the two options above, it is a good choice for a secondary mold treatment – or for smaller pieces of mold.

Simply squeeze three to five lemons and pour the juice directly into the mold. After 10 minutes, you can wipe and remove the mold with a damp towel.
